7.Removetheheatsinkandmicroprocessor,andsetthemasideonastatic-protectivesurfacefor

8.Removethememorymodulesandsetthemasideonastatic-protectivesurfaceforreinstallation(see
“Replacingamemorymodule(DIMM)”onpage122).
Note:MakeanoteofthelocationofeachDIMMasyouremoveit,sothatyoucanlaterreinstallitin
thesameconnector.
9.Removethevirtualmediakeyfromthesystemboardandsetitaside(see“Replacingthevirtualmedia
key”onpage165).Youmustreinstallthevirtualmediakeyonthenewsystemboard.
10.RemovethehypervisorashdevicefromtheUSBconnectoronthesystemboardandsetitaside(see
“ReplacingaUSBembeddedhypervisorashdevice”onpage133).Youmustreinstallthehypervisor
ashdeviceonthenewsystemboard.
11.Disconnectallcablesfromthesystemboard.Makealistofeachcableasyoudisconnectit;youcan
thenusethisasachecklistwhenyouinstallthenewsystemboard.
12.Removethescrews1thatsecurethesystemboardtothechassis,andputtheminasafeplace.
