Ifthepowersuppliesareworkingcorrectly,completethefollowingsteps:
Step1.Turnofftheserver.
Step2.Makesurethattheserveriscabledcorrectly.
Step3.Removeordisconnectthefollowingdevices,oneatatime,untilyoundthefailure.Turnonthe
serverandrecongureiteachtime.
•Anyexternaldevices.
•Surge-suppressordevice(ontheserver).
•Printer,mouse,andnon-Lenovodevices.
•Eachadapter.
•Harddiskdrives.
•Memorymodules.Theminimumcongurationrequirementis1GBDIMMinslots3.
Step4.Turnontheserver.Iftheproblemremains,suspectthefollowingcomponentsinthefollowingorder:
•Memorymodule
•Microprocessor
•Systemboard
Iftheproblemissolvedwhenyouremoveanadapterfromtheserverbuttheproblemrecurswhenyou
reinstallthesameadapter,suspecttheadapter;iftheproblemrecurswhenyoureplacetheadapterwith
adifferentone,suspecttherisercard.
Ifyoususpectanetworkingproblemandtheserverpassesallthesystemtests,suspectanetworkcabling
problemthatisexternaltotheserver.
