•Whenyouinstalldrives,followtheorderofthedrivebaynumbers.See“Frontviewoftheserver”on

tolocatethedrivebaysinyourserver.
•ForRAIDconfiguration,thedrivesmustbethesametypewiththesamecapacityiftheyarewithina
singleRAIDarray.Formoreinformation,see“ConfiguringRAID”onpage62.
•Fordriveswithdifferentcapacities,installthedrivesfollowingtheorderfromthelowestcapacityto
thehighestcapacity.
2.Dooneofthefollowing:
•Ifyouareinstallinganewdrive,locatetheappropriatedrivebay.Then,pressthecircledarea1to
openthehandleofthedummytray.
