ToinstalltheRAID110ikey,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,disconnectall
powercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtotheserver.
2.Prepareyourserver.See“Removingorextendingtheserverfromtherackcabinet”onpage63.
3.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage63.
4.Touchthestatic-protectivepackagethatcontainstheRAID110ikeytoanyunpaintedsurfaceonthe
outsideoftheserver.Then,taketheRAID110ikeyoutofthepackage.
Note:CarefullyhandletheRAID110ikeybyitsedges.
5.LocatetheRAIDupgradekeyconnectoronthesystemboardandtheninserttheRAID110ikeyintothe
RAIDupgradekeyconnectoronthesystemboard.
