ofthebuildingorresponsiblerepresentativesoftheorganization.Thesesituationsandareasmayfor
exampleinclude:
•Usingtheintegratedwirelesscardsonboardofairplanes,inhospitalsornearpetrolstations,blasting
areas(withelectro-explosivedevices),medicalimplantsorbody-wornelectronicmedicaldevices,such
aspacemakers.
•Inanyotherenvironmentwheretheriskofinterferencetootherdevicesorservicesisperceivedor
identiedasharmful.
Ifyouareuncertainofthepolicythatappliestotheuseofwirelessdevicesinaspecicorganization(suchas
airportorhospital),youareencouragedtoaskforauthorizationtouseintegratedwirelesscardspriorto
turningonthecomputer.
