Touchthisoptionifyouwanttocopyormovepictures,documents,andotherdatalesfromorto
yourcomputer.
Note:Ifyoueversetupascreenunlockpassword,PIN,orapattern,afteryoutouchanyoftheoptions,you
arepromptedtotypethepasswordorPIN,ordrawthepatterntocontinuewiththeoperation.
Ifyoudonotwantthispop-upmenutobedisplayedeachtimeyouconnectthetablettoacomputer,
disableitbydoingthefollowing:
1.FromthemainHomescreen,touchtheAndroidSettingsicononLenovoLaunchZone,ortouchthe
applicationsiconfromtheactionbarandthentouchSettings.TheAndroidSettingsscreenopens.
2.TouchUSBsettings.
3.TouchanyoptionexceptAskonconnection.
Usingthefull-sizeUSBconnector
Usethefull-sizeUSBconnectortoconnectacompatibleUSBdevicetoyourtablet,suchasaUSBstorage
deviceoraUSBkeyboard.Tolocatethefull-sizeUSBconnectoronyourtablet,see“Tabletlayout”
onpage1
.
Note:Thefull-sizeUSBconnectoriscompatiblewiththeUSB2.0standard.
WorkingwithUSBstoragedevices
IfyouconnectaUSBstoragedevicetoyourtablet,usetheUSBFileCopyUtilityapplicationtocopyles
fromonedevicetoanother,deleteles,viewledetails,andviewavailablespaceonthestoragedevice.
WhenaUSBstoragedeviceisconnectedtoyourtablet,apop-upmessageisdisplayedaskingyouif
youwanttostarttheUSBFileCopyUtilityapplication.TouchStartUtilitytolaunchtheUSBFileCopy
Utilityapplication.Otherwise,touchDon’tstart.
AfteryoutouchStartUtilityfromthepop-upmenu,theUSBFileCopyUtilityscreenopens,displayingthe
contentsstoredonboththetabletinternalstorageandtheconnectedUSBstoragedevice.
TocopyanitembetweenyourtabletandtheUSBdevice,dothefollowing:
1.Touchthenameofthedesiredstoragedevicefromthelocationbartoopenthelelistforthatdevice.
2.Touchthenamesofthedesiredles.Whenselected,agreencheckisdisplayedinthebottomleft
cornerofthele.
3.TouchCopyfromtheactionbar.Amessageboxopens,displayingalistofavailablestoragelocations.
4.Touchalocation.Thelesarecopiedtothedesiredlocation.
Note:EvenifyoudonotconnectaUSBstoragedevicetoyourtablet,youcanusetheUSBFileCopyUtility
applicationtomanagelesonyourtabletandonaninstalledashmediacard.
TodisconnecttheUSBstoragedevice,dooneofthefollowing:
•UnplugtheUSBdeviceorcabledirectly.
