ToremovethefrontWiFiantenna,dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffthecomputeranddisconnectallpowercordsfromelectricaloutlets.
2.Removethecomputercover.See“Removingthecomputercover”onpage69.
3.Removethefrontbezel.See“Removingandreinstallingthefrontbezel”onpage70.
4.DisconnectthefrontantennacablefromtheWiFicardmodule.
5.Removethefrontantennaandcablefromthefrontofthecomputer.

Completingthepartsreplacement
Aftercompletingtheinstallationorreplacementforallparts,youneedtoreinstallthecomputercoverand
reconnectcables.Dependingonthepartsyouinstalledorreplaced,youmightneedtoconrmtheupdated
informationintheSetupUtilityprogram.RefertoChapter5“UsingtheSetupUtilityprogram”onpage49
.
Toreinstallthecomputercoverandreconnectcablestoyourcomputer,dothefollowing:
1.Makesurethatallcomponentshavebeenreassembledcorrectlyandthatnotoolsorloosescrews
areleftinsideyourcomputer.See“LocatingmajorFRUs”onpage63forthelocationsofvarious
componentsinyourcomputer.
2.Makesurethatthecablesareroutedcorrectly.Keepcablesclearofthehingesandsidesofthe
computerchassistoavoidinterferencewithclosingthecomputercover.
