Replacingthesolid-statedrive
Attention:Donotopenyourcomputerorattemptanyrepairbeforereadingandunderstandingthe“Read
thisfirst:Importantsafetyinformation”onpagev.
Toreplacethesolid-statedrive,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandthecomputer.Then,disconnect
allpowercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtothecomputer.
2.Removethecomputercover.See“Removingthecomputercover”onpage71.
3.Locatethedesiredhark-disk-drivebay.See“Locatinginternaldrives”onpage7.
4.Disconnectthesignalcableandpowercablefromthesolid-statedrive.
5.Removethestorageconverterwiththesolid-statedrivefromtheharddiskdrivebay.See“Replacing
theprimaryharddiskdrive”onpage93or“Replacingthesecondaryharddiskdrive”onpage95.
