Notes:
•Dependingonthemodel,yourservermightlookslightlydifferentfromtheillustrationsinthistopic.
•UseanydocumentationthatcomeswiththeThinkServerRAIDSuperCapacitorModuleandfollowthose
instructionsinadditiontotheinstructionsinthistopic.
ToreplacetheThinkServerRAIDSuperCapacitorModule,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,disconnectall
powercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtotheserver.
2.Iftheserverisinstalledinarackcabinet,removetheserverfromtherackcabinetandplaceitonaflat,
clean,andstatic-protectivesurface.SeetheRackInstallationInstructionsthatcomeswiththeserver.
3.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage87.
4.DisconnectthecablefromtheThinkServerRAIDSuperCapacitorModule.Pressthetab1slightly
outwardtoensurethatitcansmoothlypassthroughtheholeinthebracketwhenyouliftthebracket.
Then,removethebracketwiththeThinkServerRAIDSuperCapacitorModuleasshown.
