Updatingtheserverconfiguration
Whenyoustarttheserverforthefirsttimeafteryouinstallorremoveaninternaloptionorexternaldevice,
youmightreceiveamessagesayingthattheconfigurationhaschanged.TheSetupUtilityprogramstarts
automaticallysothatyoucansavethenewconfigurationsettings.

Installingsecurityfeatures

lockthatlocksthekeyboarduntilacorrectpasswordistypedin.

Integratedcablelock
Anintegratedcablelock,sometimesreferredtoastheKensingtonlock,canbeusedtosecureyourserverto
adesk,table,orothernon-permanentfixture.Thecablelockattachestotheintegratedcablelockslotat
therearofyourserverandisoperatedwithakey.Thecablelockalsolocksthebuttonsusedtoremove
theservercover.Thisisthesametypeoflockusedwithmanynotebookcomputers.Youcanorderan

Padlock
Yourserverisequippedwithapadlockloopsothatthecovercannotberemovedwhenapadlockisinstalled.
Passwordprotection
Todeterunauthorizeduseofyourserver,youcanusetheSetupUtilityprogramtosetapassword.When
youturnonyourserver,youarepromptedtotypethepassword.Theservercannotbeuseduntilavalid
