1040 Solid State Disk (U300s)

For access, remove these FRUs in order:

• “1010 Base cover (U300s)” on page 54

• “1020 Battery pack (U300s)” on page 56

• “1030 Speakers (U300s)” on page 57

Attention:

• Donot dropthesolidstate diskorapply anyphysicalshockto it. The hard

disk drive is sensitive to physical shock. Improper handling can cause damages

and permanent loss of data.

• Before removing the drive, suggest the customer to backup all the information on

it if possible.

• Never remove the drive while the system is operating or is in suspend mode.

Unplug two connectors in the direction shown by arrow

, remove two screws

, and then remove the solid state disk in the direction shown by arrow

When installing: Make sure that the SSD connector is attached rmly.
