General safety
Followtheserulesbelowtoensuregeneralsafety:
• Observeagoodhousekeepingintheareawhere the machinesareput
duringandafterthemaintenance.
• Whenliftinganyheavyobject:
1. Makesurethatyoucanstandsafelywithoutslipping.
2. Distributetheweightoftheobjectequallybetweenyourfeet.
3. Useaslowliftingforce.Nevermovesuddenlyortwistwhenyouattempt
toliftit.
4. Liftitbystandingorpushingupwithyourlegmuscles;thisactioncould
avoidthestrainfromthemusclesinyourback.Donotattempttoliftany
objectthatweighsmorethan16kg(35lb)orthatyouthinkistooheavy
foryou.
• Donotperformanyactionthatcauses hazards tothecustomer,orthat
makesthemachineunsafe.
• Beforeyoustartthemachine,make sure thatotherservice representatives
andthecustomerarenotinahazardousposition.
• Pleaseremovecoversandotherpartsinasafe place, awayfromall
personnel,whileyouareservicingthemachine.
• Keepyourtoolcaseawayfromwalkareassothatotherpeoplewillnottrip
overit.
• Donotwearlooseclothingthatcanbetrappedinthemovingpartsofthe
machine.Makesurethatyoursleevesarefastenedorrolledupaboveyour
elbows.Ifyourhairislong,fastenit.
• Inserttheendsofyournecktieorscarfinsideclothingorfastenitwiththe
nonconductiveclip,about8centimeters(3inches)fromtheend.
• Donotwearjewelry,chains,metal-frameeyeglasses,ormetalfastenersfor
yourclothing.
Attention:
Metalobjectsaregoodelectricalconductors.
• Wearsafety glasseswhen you arehammering,drilling, soldering, cutting
wire,attachingsprings,usingsolvents,orworkinginanyotherconditions
thatmaybehazardoustoyoureyes.
• Afterservice,reinstallallsafetyshields, guards, labels,and ground wires.
Replaceanysafetydevicethatiswornordefective.
• Reinstallallcoverscorrectlybeforereturningthemachinetothecustomer.
• Fanlouversonthemachinehelptopreventtheoverheating of internal
components.Donotobstructfanlouversorcoverthemwith labels or
stickers.
