packcontainsasmallamountofharmfulsubstances.Toavoidpossibleinjury:

•ReplaceonlywithabatteryofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.

•Keepthebatterypackawayfromﬁre.

•Donotexposeittoexcessiveheat.

•Donotexposeittowaterorrain.

•Donotshort-circuitit.

•Donotdrop,crush,puncture,orsubjecttostrongforces.Batteryabuseormishandlingcan

causethebatterytooverheat,whichcancausegassesorﬂameto“vent”fromthebattery

packorcoincell.

Toreplacethebatterypack,dothefollowing:

1.Turnoffthecomputerandthendisconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcablesfromthecomputer.Wait

threetoﬁveminutestoletthecomputercool.

2.Closethecomputerdisplay,andturnthecomputerover.

3.Unlockthebatterylock1.Holdthebatterylockintheunlockedposition2,andthenremovethe

batterypack.

4.Insertafullychargedbatterypackuntilitclicksintoplace.Thenslidethebatterylock1tothelocked

positiontosecurethebatterypackinplace.

5.Turnthecomputeroveragain.Connecttheacpoweradapterandallcables.
