13.Holdingthemicroprocessorwithyourngers,positionthemicroprocessorsothatthenotchesonthe
microprocessorarealignedwiththetabsinthemicroprocessorsocketonthenewsystemboard.

Toavoiddamagingthemicroprocessorcontacts,donottiltthemicroprocessorwheninstallingitinto
thesocket.
14.Lowerthemicroprocessorstraightdownintothesystemboardsocketofthenewsystemboard.
15.Lowerthemicroprocessorretainer.
16.Locktheretainerwiththesmallhandletosecurethemicroprocessorinthesocket.
17.Thenewretentionbrackethasplasticone-wayringsonthepoststhatinsertintotherearofthenew
systemboard.Installthenewretentionbracketbyaligningthepostsonthemodulewiththeholesinthe
systemboardandpushingthepoststhroughtheholesuntiltheretentionbracketissecure.
