Aspreviouslystatedinthischapter,therrutil.exeleenablesyoutoGETlesfromandPUTlesintothe
RescueandRecoveryenvironment,italsoallowslistingoflesintheRescueandRecoveryenvironmentand
inthebackupsfolder.TheseproceduresareusedforalllecustomizationsoftheRescueandRecovery
environment.ThefollowingproceduresprovideanotherexampleofhowtoutilizetheGETandPUTfunction
withtheRescueandRecoveryenvironment.
Touserrutil.exe,dothefollowing:
1.Copyrrutil.exetotherootoftheCdrive.
2.Creategetlist.txtlewiththefollowingsyntax:
\preboot\usrintfc\lename
Savetheleasc:\temp\getlist.txt.
3.Atacommandprompt,typetherrutil.execommandandoneoftheswitchesdenedinthefollowing
table.Then,completethecommandwiththeappropriateparameters,asshowninthefollowingtable.
