determine which components are customer replaceable units (CRU) and which components are field
replaceable units (FRU).
v If an action step is preceded by “(Trained service technician only),” that step must be performed only by a
trained service technician.

2. Make sure that the power cord is connected to a
functioning power source.
3. Remove one power supply at a time.

2. Remove and replace one power supply at a time.

4. Remove the optional Remote Supervisor Adapter II
SlimLine, and try to turn on the server.
5. (Trained service technician only) Reseat the system
board.
6. (Trained service technician only) Replace the system
board.
