Note: You can reset the content of your tablet storage to the factory-default state. Use the preinstalled
recovery application provided by Microsoft
®
. Use a USB recovery key when the recovery application
fails to reset your tablet. To obtain a USB recovery key, contact the Lenovo Customer Support Center.
The “Recovery overview” topic in the User Guide provides information about using these recovery
features. See “Accessing your User Guide” for instructions on opening the electronic User Guide
provided on your tablet.
Initial setup instructions
Important: Before using your tablet, be sure to read and understand the regulatory
information and safety information later in this document.
Note: Connect the tablet to ac power before you attempt to start the tablet for the first time;
otherwise, the tablet will not start. After you complete the initial setup, the tablet will no longer
need ac power to start if the battery is adequately charged.
1. Plug the ac power adapter into a standard ac power outlet. Connect one end of the USB
cable to the ac power adapter and the other end to the micro-USB connector on the tablet.
2. Press the power button to turn on the tablet. Then, follow the onscreen instructions to
complete the initial setup.

Start your tablet. Tap Lenovo Support on the Start screen. Then
tap User Guide.
Open Windows Help and Support. Then tap Lenovo User Guide.
