IfboththePower-OnPasswordandtheAdministratorPasswordareset,youcantypeeitherpassword.

However,tochangeanycongurationsettings,youmustuseyourAdministratorPassword.

HardDiskUserPassword

WhenaHardDiskUserPasswordisset,itpreventsunauthorizedusersfromaccessingthedataonthe

harddiskdrive.

Forcomputermodelsthatdonothaveaninternalharddiskdriveandusearemoteharddiskdriveaccessed

throughtheSMC-StorageArray,contactyournetworkorstorageadministrator.
