Chapter 3. Features

The following list contains features of the Lenovo USB 2.0 Super Multi-Burner Drive (With

LightScribe):

v Easy connection

Since this product incorporates the interface conforming to the USB 2.0 High Speed standard, it can be

connected or disconnected to or from your computer easily even when the power of the computer is

on. Docks and port replicators with AC power are supported.

v Conformance to media manufactured by major media manufacturers

This product is best tuned to almost all the CD and DVD media manufactured by major media

manufacturers and the media written by this product realizes a very high write quality. Therefore, this

drive can be used with little concern for compatibility issues.

v Incorporation of the buffer underrun prevention function

This product incorporates the buffer underrun prevention function which helps to prevent buffer

underrun errors that cause a write failure onto the CD and DVD media.

v Tray loading

This product has a tray-loading mechanism that allows easy loading and ejection of a disc. The Tray

can be opened manually or by using software that works with the computer.

v Power configurations

This drive operates with the following power configurations:

– AC adapter power operation

When connected to AC power (use adapter shipped with the option)
