CAUTION:
Theheatsinkmightbeveryhot.Turnoffthecomputerandwaitthreetoveminutesto
letthecomputercoolbeforeremovingthecomputercover.
Toreplacetheheatsink,dothefollowing:
1.Removethecomputercover.See“Removingthecomputercover”onpage68.
2.Locatetheheatsink.See“Locatingcomponents”onpage66.
3.Removethefourscrewsthatsecuretheheatsink.Then,lifttheheatsinkoffthesystemboard.
Notes:
a.Carefullyremovethefourscrewsfromthesystemboardtoavoidanypossibledamage.Thefour
screwscannotberemovedfromtheheatsink.
b.Youmighthavetogentlytwisttheheatsinktofreeitfromthemicroprocessor.
c.Whenhandlingtheheatsink,donottouchthethermalgreaseonthebottomoftheheatsink.
